Delivering vitamins and minerals directly to your cells
Developed in the 1970’s by John Myers, M.D. at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, the Myers Cocktail is an intravenous infusion of vitamins and minerals. Bypassing the digestive system and administering nutrients directly into the bloodstream delivers a much higher level of nutrition to the cells.
Depending on the recommendations of your healthcare provider the “cocktail” can be administered once a week, once a month, or on an as-needed basis.
What’s in a Myers Cocktail

- Multi-minerals
- Magnesium
- Calcium
- Vitamin C

The vitamin/mineral solution is slowly injected over a 10-20 minute period.

Benefits of Myers Cocktails
There have been many published studies done by Alan Gaby, M.D., and Jonathan Wright, M.D.on the benefits and therapeutic use of intravenous nutrients.
The nutrients work in your body to help balance and support your entire system. If you tend to be anxious or overstressed, it can help to calm and relax you. If you tend to have fatigue and feel run down, it can help boost your energy.
Myers infusions for fibromyalgia
The Myers has been used to treat fibromyalgia for 20 years. There has been excellent clinical success with the Myers to reduce pain and promote detoxification.
Yale researchers recently tested the Myers Cocktail on a group of patients in a double-blind, placebo-controlled randomized trial. The study measured tender points, depression levels, and quality of life. Significant improvement was shown in all pertinent outcome measures with the Myers group and none with the placebo group.
What should I know before getting a Myers Cocktail?
It is best to prepare for the Myers by drinking plenty of water and having food in your stomach before you come in the office. Some patients may experience a general flushing feeling, light-headedness, and/or a taste of the vitamins.
