Recently, you might have heard that Dr. Jackie Fields was visiting the remote corner of Baja, Mexico, but what exactly was she doing in this beautiful place of paradise?
For seven days, women from all different facets of life gathered together for the Women, Wisdom, & Wellness Retreat led by Dr. Fields and Clara Macy. In humility of the grounded mountains, and in surrender of the ever-moving ocean, eight women navigated through focused health and mind-body balancing. Days were spent guiding these women in a sacred journey through the seven chakras, while also empowering them to take their practice off the mat and into their everyday lives.
In taking time to integrate their spiritual and physical selves with guided integrative medicine, these women were able to reclaim connection and power within their own health. The week offered space for divine feminine connection, creating a place of safety and support. According to Dr. Fields, “This trip was an opportunity to connect and live in the rhythm of the Earth, awaken with the sunrise, shut down at sunset. We taught and practiced Ayurvedic self-care while creating a safe, sacred circle for women to learn and heal.” Together, all these different human experiences fostered a sense of unity, and these ladies were able enjoy the paradise of Baja as a sisterhood. Whether they were playing on their yoga mats in the sunshine or snorkeling with whale sharks, the universe seemed to intentionally welcome these women each day in their journey.
Bottom line? When you allow the time and space for colorful, strong, and lovely women to come together, only magic can happen. Dr. Fields hopes to lead another retreat in the future, so be sure to check back for any news and updates.
We encourage you to take a look at feedback from one of the divine women that attended this retreat (thanks for sharing your experience, Vicki!)…
“I just returned from a week-long retreat Women, Wisdom and Wellness which was held in Baja, Mexico at the Ranchero de la Cruces resort. It was a wonderful week that I will forever remember. Met such kind, wonderful women that all but one I had never met before. The retreat was hosted by Dr. Jackie Fields and Clara Macy. Dr. Fields has been my doctor for the past twenty years and to have the opportunity to spend a week with your medical doctor on such a personal level was a special gift for me. To be able to ask health questions and learn from Dr. Fields, how often can someone say they have such a wonderful opportunity. Clara was another wonderful source of great information for more in-depth on yoga and its spiritual aspects.
Dr. Fields and Clara were both so helpful in empowering us women and teaching us to take responsibility of our health, and to learn healthy, natural alternative ways of taking care of our bodies. The week was relaxing and peaceful, but lots of fun. The accommodations and the gourmet meals at the resort were 5-star. I would highly recommend another retreat that Dr. Fields and Clara would host. They were very organized and passionate, and had so much to offer us women attending the retreat.” — Vicki
With this, I leave you with the mantra that fueled the profound growth and self-love of women on this retreat…
– Self Love –
May I be free from harm. May I be safe. May I be free of suffering. May I be happy. May I be healthy and strong. May I be able to live in this world happily, peacefully, joyfully with ease.
In Love and Light,
